The Deli is run by Joe and Georgie, supported by Mum and Dad! and an excellent local chef, Steve.

Joe who lives just outside the village has a true passion for food, a real foodie! Responsible for writing some of the exciting menus available through our catering arm. His wealth of knowledge has been gained through his true passion for food, and the excitement it gives him trying different flavours and combinations. Although not a trained chef he has a natural talent, his position at the Deli allows him to explore that further.

Georgie shares the same passion as Joe, you will find her mainly up front at the counter. She prides herself in her product knowledge and is responsible for sourcing some of the fine and unusual products that you will find on the shop floor. Having lived on the Island all of her life she is well known by many of our customers and shares the same love for the Island as she does the Deli.

Joe and Georgie are supported by Steve, an excellent local chef, who has both worked in top restaurants throughout Essex.. Steve has skill to produce fine tasty food delivered with a twist as well as your more traditional fayre. His ability with all things sweet is particular talent.

Formerly known as The Mixing Bowl, our aim is to develop The Deli into the finest Delicatessen in the area, offering value for money quality fresh tasty produce. We want the Deli to be recognised as the place to shop where you can purchase something different than others offer.

Our Ethos is to enjoy good healthy food, our aim is to:
